Holiday Coat Drive

2022

Per Bridget, “Happy to share good news…thanks to the generosity of our members and friends, today we delivered over 550 coats, hats, gloves, and blankets to be distributed among families in the St. Louis area. So grateful that we are finally able to make this donation, as we now find ourselves in the coldest days of winter…thank you all again! Per Tim, “2021 Coat Drive & Party by the numbers… Holidays kicked off with the Friday November 26th Collection Party which attributed to a $5,000 bar ring followed by four week Clothing Drive which accumulated (4 snow pants, 4 comforters, 22 scarves, 26 gloves/pairs, 29 coats/kids, 72 hats, 103 socks/pairs, & 255 coats) 515 items.” – Tim Luby 01/12/22

2021

Friday November 26th the lodge is hosting the annual coat drive party in the Hall of America. In addition, volunteers will be posted out front of the lodge every December Tuesday (7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th) from 4:00 to 6:00 accepting coats, gloves, hats, & socks.

2020

Despite being closed for the month of December and the majority of November Saint Louis Lodge #9 gave the gift of warmth as a result of its 3rd Annual Holiday Coat Drive.  On January 12, 2021, members Matt Harvey and Bridget Nations delivered over 220 coats to the Brenda and Kurt Warner Foundation’s Winter Warm Up ( https://www.kurtwarner.org/warmup ) and note, the ‘9’ has collected over 500 winter items since the 1st Annual event in 2018.
